| Gecko’s Bronze, Silver, Gold & Platinum award scheme; encourages young climbers to improve their climbing skills by progressing through each award, from the Bronze level where you will have to show the instructors that you can put on and adjust your own harness and tie a figure of eight knot, to the Platinum award where you will be expected to be able to belay a climber during a lead fall and climb at least four climbs at grade 6 and above.
Once you have reached the Platinum award, we want you to take your climbing to the next level, you will be invited to join the Rock Academy, here you will be shown how to improve and develop your climbing skills, experience competing against other junior teams and learn to lead climb.
All awards can also be used as part of the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme
